Alas, but overdue.
Furthermore, the notions of economic dependence on 'skilled" immigration is an agenda driven fallacy. The better alternative is twofold: 1. organic population growth, accelerated if desired, through the promotion of family; and 2. the bigger picture issue of mass emmigration nations (not) fixing their problems (beginning with rampant corruption) at home, so would-be-patriots had economic and wellbeing opportunities, within rule-of-law/law abiding and secure communities at home.
