DK Shivakumar, the Indian National Congress Leader and the incumbent Deputy Chief Minister for the State of Karnataka has been implicated in a scandal of possession of “disproportionate funds”. The scandal started with a raid by the income tax department in 2017, and now the CBI has approached the court with a special leave petition for removal of stay.
