Making a Terrarium For Tiny Snails!🐌

My substrate mix:
Coco fibre 1 part
Sphagnum moss 2 parts
Orchid bark 1/4 part
Charcoal 1/4 part
Worm castings 1/4 part

Hey just a tip!
I would add some calcium, doesnt matter if its grounded eggshell or calcium fertilizer, but it helps the snails to grow and form their houses, also it helps with cell wall function muscle concentration and egg laying. Its also important to feed them with Dandelions and nettles, they contain calcium too and help your snails to stay healthy.

thanks for this. I rescued a tiny snail that was on my basil leaves (about to make some pasta lol), I didn't know how to take care of him/her so I put some dirt in a jar with some basil leaves each day.

FYI: Snails can be in curved containers like this but fish cannot. Please put your fish in a tank, not a bowl!

I made my second terrarium with moss, plants and soil from the outside (by a river). Several weeks later I noticed a tiny centipede and a snail 🐌. Even one earthworm 🪱 survived for about a month.
So I'm not sure at this stage what is more interesting - using custom made soil or dirt from outside

Be careful if they lay eggs! I used to have 3 achat snails. Now I have 30! And btw. What kind of snails are these?
