There's an interesting point Cain made when God asks where Abel is. And he says am I my brothers keeper. In thinking about these things it's fascinating how many times in Bereshet or Genesis there is good and evil. Isaac - Ishmael, Jacob - Esau. Of the children of Israel Joseph is sent to check on his brothers just like God's Word being brought to children not part of the Chosen.
