I Had 2 attempts at this. One was bedside and it was extremely extremely traumatizing. Second was under anesthesia with EGD guide. Neither one of them took. They both coiled in my stomach in a pretzel shape. First I threw up and it came out of my mouth. Second I retched it got lodged in my throat then I very violently projectile vomited it out. Lots of blood and bile. And that little bridge thing is a nightmare too. I would have to be on my death bed to try this again. Now I have a jg tube m. 😭😭😭😭

Don't trust that pin. It's a sharp object and can be a danger to some patients who are fidgety and not compos mentis

Unreliable tape clip, it will easily rip open when patient moves around and is irritated
