World's Second-Deepest Blue Hole Discovered Off Mexico's Coast

Scientists have carried out studies in Quintana Roo and after a long process of two years the discovery of the second deepest hole in the world has been officially announced. Experts from the College of Southern Fringe, the Center for Public Research (CPI) and the National College of Science and Technology (Conacyt) reported on the discovery of the phenomenon.

The second deepest blue hole in the world is located off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, where the dimensions exceed those in Sansha Yongle, China. Undoubtedly, Mexico continues to be recognized for its natural wealth and the proof is that this hole is about 13,690 square meters and with a height of 274 meters.
