New solo music from Blue Oyster Cult's Buck Dharma. The "End of Every Song", written by Buck with lyrics adapted from the 19th century poem "Dregs" by Earnest Christopher Dowson. It tells a tale, of looking back on better times and resignation to an uncertain future.
Buck touches on our era of unease, the issues and pace of change today. He takes nostalgic stock of his own career, and people in his life, with fondness for those around him who have departed. There's sadness, but also gratitude and resolve toward a better future.

There's a special place in my heart solely dedicated to BÖC and everything that relates to them.

Great song! Buck shook my hand at a concert at Itchycoo Park campground in Douglas, Ne. July 22 1989. Still haven't washed it, lol. Thanks !

Love it! The video reminds me of all the B.O.C. shows I've been to through the years. All the way back to the beginning, 1972, if you came to San Diego, I was there! Thank you Buck! Wish my brother was still around to hear this, he was also a huge fan!

Such a good song.. May all those who passed rest in peace. My mother died on July 10, 2024... a few days before this song came out. She passed away at home listening to Blue Oyster Cult on repeat, with family around her. Thank you. This song hit home so much, it means so much to my family. She'd been listening since the 70's when she was a teen, and BOC has been in my family forever. Mom named me Adele Rios just like from Del Rio's Song. At the end she couldn't even talk from the cancer weakened state, but she could mouth the lyrics to BOC. The kronos and "Dont Fear The Reaper" are on her headstone. I've been to dozens of concerts, including Reno on July 5th because mom told us we couldn't miss that show even if she was going to pass soon. Mom I love you, I know you're listening ♥ Thank you Buck.

Suddenly I just came to the realization that rock and roll is fading away with the loss of each of these great musicians. What a great age to have lived in.

My first R&R T-Shirt was a BÖC shirt I bought with own money when I was just 12. I’ve been a fan ever since and Buck is in my top five guitar heroes. Flat Out is played quite a bit to this day.

I've been a fan since the beginning, Buck. So glad you wrote the music you wrote, and played with such intellectual lines and wonderful style. Still at it, I see, and I am grateful you are part of this project. Cheers!

Buck Dharma is one of the greatest guitar players that a lot of people never listened to. I have met Buck many times and has always very cordial. His wife Sandy is one of nicest ladies I have ever met. It has been quite a ride since 5 I have seen 76 BOC concerts and not seen a bad one. "On Tour Forever."

This song is classic Buck Dharma, one of the most iconic guitarists, songwriters, vocalists, and talented human beings to ever grace this planet! I love everything about this song, including the vocals and guitars which are absolutely perfect! To say that Buck is iconic would be an understatement! 🙂❤️🎸🎤🎶
