I know, The Struggle Is Real! I lost my edges from wigs, perms, dyes, tight styles, glues. etc. I never thought I could get them back so I didn't try. So glad you're sharing your process because there are many, many people who suffer with balding and don't know that they can fight back like you are. Keep going, we see your results.

Your hairs can definitely grow. Try Rogaine or minoxidil…I got my eyebrows lasered to remove old micro blading. The laser turned my hairs white, basically burned them off and all my hairs fell out. I derma rolled and used the liquid, hairs sprouted within 2 weeks. If you do decide to try, don’t put your scarf on, let the product sit and soak in. Mielle drops work as well. Speak life into your hair, the human body does amazing things. ❤

You can bring back dead follicles. You have to repair them or bring them back. Clove and Rosemary tea has helped. This is such an important issue. Thank you for sharing your experience. Your hair will grow back. Dead follicles and all. If we love our hair the hair will grow. I say affirmations as I’m massaging my scalp.

This is why in 2019 I stopped wearing sew ins and just my natural hair (which is way better) bc I started to notice my edges thinning and that was enough! We still gotta be able to wear our hair too!

I promise she's not lying! My edges weren't the problem, fine thinning hair in my crown was. Baby when I tell you my ish is growing and getting some weight on it! I'm so happy! Grab some rosemary oil to use as well.

Sorry girl I literally shouted when you said you permed your damaged edges... But I get you. It's cool to see that you could grow them back. I will try

HEY Y'ALL! I just wanted to be 100% TRANSPARENT! I have a spot on my right side that is smooth to the touch. I had 18 packs of hair in and when I unbraided my braids you could literally see white bulbs at the end of the braids and there were 4-6 braids in that area that literally FELL OFF. When I make these videos and when I micro needle I AM NOT SELLING YOU GUYS A DREAM. I know those hairs wont grow back and I'm okay with that. My goal is to grow the hair around that spot so that I can camouflage the spot.
I recommend going to the dermatologist/seeking expert help to see if derma-rolling will be beneficial to you personally.
Derma rolling does hurt, please be safe, clean/disinfect your roller and don't share rollers. I'm still learning but I get better every time. I don't roll hard enough to bleed so that damage my follicles.
You guys are amazing! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT AND LOVE!
God Bless.

I'm so glad you recorded your journey. I brought a mirco needle to help grow edges back from seborrheic dermatitis caused thinning edges. You gave very thorough info. Thank you 😊

I love how you’re honest about what you use and the results! Totally transparent! That’s why I follow you! Keep up the good work! Maybe try a different oil on your smooth spot, with massaging it. It will wake up those follicles. God bless!

Tami you took me back‼️ I’ve damaged weak edges by perming them in the past after damage from weaves. This was many years ago. A stylist told me some of my follicles were gone and my edges would never grow back. She was wrong. Keep doing what your doing. They will come back doing what you are doing and remember minoxidil is an option. It’s working for me. ❤

I can see a difference for sure! I started microneedling after seeing your original video from a few months back! Hoeever I didn't purchase the microneedle that you roll. I use the stamp and I find it to be more effective! I did some research and would encourage anyone who wants to start trying microneedling to do the same. The stamp has more benefits and less risk of infection. Plus it's faster. But I love your progress and it's motivating me to be more consistent ✨️💯😌

I'm so happy for your progress!! You will get the best results with edge growth when you stop manipulating your edges. No baby hair, no edge control. Massage Castor Oil into your edges every day. That will work wonders! 😊
