Thanks Gena. I usually dry detangle using oil. I like the OGX Coconut Oil and Argan Oil. If I do wet detangle pre-shampoo I will use a less expensive conditioner.

Hi Gena. Some conditioners recommend using a wide tooth comb to comb through the conditioner. Is it okay to use a wide tooth comb instead of a brush combing from the ends up?

the oil pre shampoo detangle is the least stressful for me. i can get overwhelmed by the length of time to "do the whole routine". detangling with oil the night before wash day makes it SEEM faster.

I tried the dry detangle with oil before I washed and I definitely got a better clean but I swear I had more hair pulled out then wet detangling. I do get ALOT of tangles so I’m going to try wet detangling with conditioner before I wash next! I still have to use a brush tho my hair is too long, fine, and tangled to just use my fingers.
