यद्यप्येते न पश्यन्ति लोभोपहतचेतसः ।
कुलक्षयकृतं दोषं मित्रद्रोहे च पातकम् ॥ ३७ ॥
कथं न ज्ञेयमस्माभिः पापादस्मन्निवर्तितुम् ।
कुलक्षयकृतं दोषं प्रपश्यद्भ‍िर्जनार्दन ॥ ३८ ॥

yady apy ete na paśyanti
lobhopahata-cetasaḥ
kula-kṣaya-kṛtaṁ doṣaṁ
mitra-drohe ca pātakam
kathaṁ na jñeyam asmābhiḥ
pāpād asmān nivartitum
kula-kṣaya-kṛtaṁ doṣaṁ
prapaśyadbhir janārdana

O Janārdana, although these men, their hearts overtaken by greed, see no fault in killing one’s family or quarreling with friends, why should we, who can see the crime in destroying a family, engage in these acts of sin?

We are never bonded to do something. We must think abt the Conciquences, and others and the result . If the results are good then you may do it but if result is not good then no one is bound do anything

First of all Thank you for this daily one verse concept. It was always my wish to listen and understand The Geetha in a simple way. @kartikeya das you have made this happen while sitting at home. I think I am reviewing this because I am ready to absorb this blessing of Sri Krishna.

This sloka explains we are obliged to do activity when we are seeing this good impact, here Arjuna could see that it's going to lead the destruction, so he does not want to fight, as a Kshatriya he had to accept the challenge for this war.
