Eviction from a private rented home is a leading cause of homelessness in England so thank you Tories for selling off council houses

I can no longer save. Im "just about managing". £350 a week in wages and I can't even save £50 a month. People who go to work 5 days a week should never have to struggle. Broken system.

And where are all those homeless people ‘human rights’ I wonder ? Are all those infinite numbers of HR lawyers going to help them ?
What a treacherous government we have; unworthy of legitimacy and credibility.

British people who pay into the system all their lives just a paycheck away from homelessness. Illegal migration costing £8 million a day in hotel accommodation. Welcome to the United Kingdom we look after others before we look after our own .

Tony Blair opened uk borders to mass immigration, cheap foreign labour wage suppression and competition for homes . Things can only get better got that one wrong tony

It's not a 'cost of living crisis', it a 'government spending too much using debt crisis'. Notice how the more we spend on benefits the poorer we all get and that's no coincidence because it's paid for via debt and not productivity.

They keep hiking bills up. Our Water rate bill has just come in and has gone up £80 a year.

I have lived in my flat for 22 yrs paying the mortgage. Since that 'mini budget' the mortgage has increased threefold. Some arrears built up and now Lloyds Bank, yesterday, have sent letters saying 'we are applying to the court for an Eviction Date'. Have worked since I was 15, now 57, and Lloyds are actively trying to make me homeless because of the interest rate rises, despite me paying the monthly mortgage in full, 80% of my salary. I just cannot believe that this has been allowed to happen in this current climate. Their advice was to contact Shelter or the local council. And thanks to Lloyds I cannot even sell it as now worth less than the mortgage.

We are being taxed to oblivion and are barely being paid enough to live. I know people who have jobs and are still homeless, they live in their car. It’s insanity

Tax threshold needs to go up to realistic amount, at least 20.000 a year before start being taxed. Threshold is pathetic.

I chose to be homeless in my car for years, worked full time and saved tens of thousands of pounds.

IT IS EXTREMELY SAD THAT SO MANY PEOPLE, JUST WISHING FOR A NICE HOME, HAVE BEEN CAUGHT UP IN THE "KEEPING UP WITH THE JONES" MINDSET, BY OVER EXTENDING THEIR FINANCES, INSTEAD OF LIVING IN A MORE MODEST HOME & PAYING IT OFF SOONER...
THIS NEED TO BE SEEN WITH A POSH HOUSE ALL A PART OF A TRAP SET BY THE MONEY MEN!
I DO NOT BLAME PEOPLE FOR BEING ANGRY, PITY THEY COULDN'T JOIN THE DOTS MUCH SOONER!😢
