Riders Left Dangling High Over Amusement Park as Storm Hits

Riders were stuck dangling over Six Flags Mexico on August 18 after a storm disrupted ride operations in the park.

The thing with Mexico City is that during this time of year (late May to late September) it rains on a daily basis in the early evening out of nowhere but I agree that if lightning was present in addition to rain that they should’ve terminated the ride

Someone did that on purpose. No way they saw the storm coming a didn't close the ride.

We also had a similar experience back in Bana Hills in vietnam 6 or 7 years ago when we decided to go down after seeing it's going to rain not knowing they was gonna stop it cause the storm and the lightning suddenly raging when we are half way down. It was numbing when the carriage was shaking as the reinforced steel rope giving in with each swing cause of the wind, krzzz krzzz krzzz each time, i was only waiting for a pluck sound and it's the end. 🙏😭💀💀
