Riders at Six Flags Mexico were pelted with rain and wind as they were stuck dangling above the park as a storm rolled through and temporarily halted several rides. They were stuck in the air for 10 minutes before being safely let off the ride.

"it's too dangerous to operate the ride in a storm.. so we chose to leave you 200 feet in the air"

I love how the roller-coaster in the background is also going full speed. People just getting blasted by rain at 30mph 😂

People always complain that the rides don’t last long enough so this seems like a win

Omg! My liver and stomach just switched places watching this video. I’m happy no one was hurt.

Uncomfortable minutes huh. I have been stuck upside down on a Ring of Fire ride for 20 minutes. Had to hold myself and my daughter in place so we didn't fall through and DIE. IT WAS SO FREAKING FRIGHTENING I HAVE NEVER BEEN ON A RIDE SINCE.

I once got on such a carousel when the amusement park was very deserted. Without knowing it, the seats went up 150 feet. In addition, the whole thing was only attached to a small hook. I was only secured with a wobbly bar on my stomach. That was one hell of a ride. But hanging up there in a storm is an absolute nightmare.😅

Not knowing a storm is coming is absolutely stupid on their part

Everyone seems really calm considering what they're going through 😟

The dude a couple seats up is working hard to comfort whomever is next to him…and that works really well when you’re owning inside.
If you can focus on someone else it helps immensely.

This should teach everyone a huge lesson to watch the weather channel before going to a amusement park. Period! Don't go if it's raining and the sky is cloudy.

They're brave for going on a ride that's so high up. I couldn't. Surprised nobody's screaming!❤

Meanwhile a roller coaster 🎢 in the background randomly passes by as if there is sunlight😂😂

Fun fact of the day! Six Flags is named after the Six Flags of Texas. Empire of Spain, Empire of France, Republic of Texas, Confederate States of America, United States of America, and Empire of Mexico.
