Do you have blue eyes or brown eyes? That could make all the difference between sitting in the front row or the back row of Jane Elliott's classroom. A former school teacher, she became a pioneer of racial diversity training. Jane Elliot was inspired by the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr to try out an experiment with the children in her classroom: the blue-eyed brown-eyed test. Over the past fifty years she has repeated the experiement hundreds of times in schools, corporations and even on the Oprah Winfrey show! Watch the video to find out more!

I saw a programme on this teacher when I was at school about 40 years ago. I had forgotten her name but the experiment always stuck with me. Thank you for posting. Great story. 👍🏻🌸
