Jane Elliott: The Brown-Eyed Blue-Eyed Test

Do you have blue eyes or brown eyes? That could make all the difference between sitting in the front row or the back row of Jane Elliott's classroom. A former school teacher, she became a pioneer of racial diversity training. Jane Elliot was inspired by the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr to try out an experiment with the children in her classroom: the blue-eyed brown-eyed test.
