I wonder how Americans would react if Russia was on our Mexican border.. And we have the audacity to propose the idea of sanctioning Putin and Russia. Ukraine can remain a neutral state and have good relations with everyone. Joining NATO will put them at risk of being completely wiped out. Putin stated that America's new naval hypersonic/nuclear capable missile, can reach Moscow within 5 minutes if fired from Ukrainian territory. Thus, it would give them no time to react to external threat. These are legitimate concerns and we have no negotiate things and find a balance.
