🌍 Stadiums Under Construction (August 2024)

The next video in our series on stadium construction from around the world is a special one. There are new stadiums under construction on our map, so we can take you to new places for the first time. We'll start in the USA, where one of the new stops awaits us - Nissan Stadium. We take a look at the construction site in Mexico and then move on to Europe.

At Everton Stadium, the roof is ready, as we show from a bird's eye view. In Spain, apart from our regular stop, Barcelona, we will also be in Zaragoza, where part of La Romareda stadium is being demolished. After a short visit to Serbia, among others, we will also travel to Türkiye, Iraq and Morocco, where preparations for the 2030 World Cup are also underway. Finally, we will visit two Chinese stadiums and Hong Kong, where a spectacular glittering facility is being built.

You forgot Fiorentina's Stadio Artemio Franchi. The construction has only just started. That's why Fiorentina's capacity next season is like 22, 000. The plans are really beautiful and I think it'll be up there with the Juventus Stadium when it's completed in 3 years time.

Why are stadiums in Spain so cheap? a 42K stadium for 150 million Euro's, in the UK a 42K stadium would be 400 milion. Evertons 53K new stadium is reportedly in the region of 700 million with only 11k more seats.
