I've been using Primark sponges for ages and they work great. Definitely wouldn't pay more than a few quid for a sponge 😄

The Lacura glow tonic is also practically the same as the Pixi one!!! It works wonders for my skin for a a quarter of the price 😊

I don't think you need docs for ear. If they tell you to take it out...do not!!! The hole will close and trap the infection in your ear. Use 1 cup boiling water mixed with 1 quarter tea spoon of sea salt. Use like cotton pads soaked in them as like a hot compress around the piercing as hot as you can manage. The salt water cleans it and the heat will drag out any infection.
If the piercing is new it will swell and be red for a while, so don't worry. Also don't over clean as you will remove the good bacteria that helps it to heal. I speak from experience of many a piercing. 😊 Good luck with it!
