I took Ozempic for about six weeks, but I moved to a different state so I had to quit to find a new doctor which I’m looking for. The one thing these doctors who make these videos are not talking about is how these drugs don’t just make you have a loss of appetite. They actually changed the way you feel Mentally about food. This drug works on your brain and in your stomach and on your metabolism. My whole life revolves around food that’s just the way it’s turned out. I never used to be that way. So for someone like me, this is a miracle drug because it literally made me put food as a secondary in my life and my life as primary. That doesn’t mean I didn’t want to eat or didn’t care about food. I cared about food to the point where I wanted to eat healthy I didn’t want to go to KFC and get a bucket of chicken. For some reason, I craved chicken salad sandwiches on wheat bread or an orange or a string cheese and a hard boiled egg or soup and crackers. In six weeks that I was on it I lost 50 pounds, it’s sad that I had to get off because I didn’t finish the program and get to my goal weight. Now I am getting some back just because like I said before my mind revolves around food. As it does for many of us! I’m doing some more research this time to get back on it and make sure I’m eating properly and getting the right amount of protein, which is key for muscle retention. As someone who has been on it and done over 150 hours of research on this topic, I believe I can say that what you should be eating is steak, chicken, shrimp, scallops, some rice, some bread, some crackers, certain soups, eggs, avocado, some cheese, get some sugar-free gum and candy so that you can stop any sugar cravings. I also drink sugar-free Red Bull and di soda. Every once in a while on the soda, I really don’t care about soda I just did it for sweet cravings. However, I did drink sugar-free Red Bull daily at least one 8.4 ounce can. Also coffee I drink. No sugar, but I did add unsalted butter because I love bulletproof coffee. Look up the recipe on YouTube. It’s very simple just two ingredients and delicious. Must follow the instructions and blend it extremely well or else it’s terrible. I do think that a lot of these doctors channels try to do Clickbait and they all have something different to say. instead of just giving us the tools we need to be successful. They leave you feeling guilty and scared that you’re going to get some kind of disease and your left so confused you don’t know what to eat or think or do anymore in your life! I think we need to stop listening to a lot of these channels, do what experts promote it say. And I don’t mean from the manufacturer. I mean there are a couple doctors out there who tell you exactly what to do if you’re on the drug what vitamins do you need what you need to eat what you should drink. If you deviate from that plan a little bit then it’s no big deal. Just keep moving forward. I did that slight deviation and it was no problem. I still lost a ton of weight and felt great. The other thing is it helps you to not care if you have McDonald’s or Pizza Hut even if other people are eating it in front of you. It helps you to literally not care if you have it or not and be fine eating your Chicken salad sandwich or bowl of soup. Crazy but it really does work for that extremely well! It’s not a willpower thing. You don’t need willpower this literally does it for you. I hate when they just called this drug in appetite suppressant because that’s not what it is entirely if you want an appetite suppressant just take some Diet pill over the counter. It doesn’t just make you sit there and naughty and you only have 200 cal a day thus you will have to lose weight because you’re not eating. It does so much more than that. You do have to focus on your diet though and make sure you’re getting enough protein, and calories, just for your nutritional value of your muscle mass!

I think those are the things you should be eating if experiencing nausea and vommiting. But if you are on one of these drugs whomever your nutritionalist is will let you know you should be eating high protein foods an easy digestable cooked veggies

Sounds like it’s advising against fodmaps foods, which would greatly reduce the chances of foods fermenting and causing problems. And as someone who is on Mounjaro, crackers and ramen are the only things I feel like eating in the first month. Working back to whole foods keto foods now.

I have been on the shot for several months. Your body will make it very clear to you very quickly that you can not eat food that is unhealthy, PERIOD! Eat good, or feel gross! That is the side effect of having nasty stuff in your stomach for too long.

Seriously these chiropractors are wild, folks leave it to trained dietitians, and diabetes specialists. I understand doctors do not get a lot of nutrition training in school but this is not any better.

Some people cannot digest fiber well, these medications make it worse if you are one of these people, if I eat salads, broccoli, carrots etc… I’ve still got that in my stomach for two days fermenting and that is like misery, bloated stomach pain and gas, vomiting etc… so I found that I probably have SIBO and I have to eat mostly meat, well cooked vegetables in small amounts, still having digestive problems though.

Hello there. What about a fruit & vegetable juice fast while on these medications for weight loss? Although it’s natural sugar in the fruit, would that still be an issue?

Had to stop mounjaro because of severe nausea and diarrhea. Was dehydrated and ended up in the ER. Some people these drugs help but we're all different. I still think the science is great

I think this is off topic. Its not about distroying anything. Its about how to avoid the intitial side effects. These meds will make the ever failing diets that you are profiting from finally go away. Finally, no more shame, just plain good healthy food. Find a new job.

Thanks so much for the video I am prescribed Ozempic and you may get a little sour stomach nothing drastic I'm on a 1mg pen I eat greasy fried chicken chicken wings burgers and 7/11 sausages never had any stomach problems. I guess it depends on the person. Great video however

If you’re already overweight, then nutrition isn’t really the main problem. Stopping the increased calorie intake is the goal. Once you reach your target weight then maybe think about nutrition etc. Until then, take vitamins and supplements etc.

And honestly I wasn’t drinking lots of water vomint 26 times in 2 days I honestly gained tons after my third boy but now I feel like I’m going to do better with drinking water, water, water and that is the secret no greasy food or carbs

Stop with the over dramatics. This makes sense and there are so many other fruits and veggies you can eat! I already have a somewhat slow digestion after gallbladder removal so I stay away from celery, etc because I get bad gas. But regardless there are so mamy other thingsvto eat! Stop with the click bait.
