Patient with microcephaly (abnormal brain development) shows improvement.

Our patient Avikal is a 5 year old diagnosed with Microcephaly. Microcephaly is a condition where the head (circumference) is smaller than normal. Due to his abnormal brain development, avikal had complains of delayed motor and speech functions, mental retardation, seizures, facial distortions, hyperactivity, balance and coordination problems. We designed a customised protocol for Avikal which included his sandwich protocol combined with other holistic therapies. Our physiotherapists gave him exercises to increase flexibility. Dieticians designed a diet plan only for Avikal. While our occupational therapist played memory inducing games to boost his brain activity.
