Kinda of think she was missed diagnosed, would be great if I'm wrong.

The confusion here is because microcephaly rather than being a specific condition is any disorder characterised by a severely undersized skull.

However Ana Carolina Caceres was born with a different condition, craniosynostosis, where the plates in her skull had prematurely fused. This is also a serious condition and her remarkable achievements were made possible by surgery that allowed her brain to grow normally.

Microcephaly varies in cause, associated conditions, and severity. I hope that any parent, who could avoid the significant risk of burdening their child with such a condition just by delaying pregnancy for a year or two, would.

I could be wrong! It could be the pictures but she looks normal to me. Also a doctors diagnosis is an assumption based on experience and probability. It is not defacto reality. Therefore they can be wrong about an individual but their diagnosis is statically sound.

Wow... How can you survive being born with an underdeveloped brain? I don't understand... does the brain develop later, how do you widen the skull? If somebody knows I would really appreciate an explaination

Let the decision rest with the parents, not the government.

So this is ACTUALLY about abortion. If the point is to say that the numbers tell us theres a reasonable chance that kiddo will do well, thats something. All i saw was this woman is an exception. But if its 50/50 or say and 80% chance that without ending the pregnancy youll cause a child to be born into pain and suffer a short sad life for 2 weeks-- i dont know. Seems less harmful to take the advice of a doctor and do the responsible thing.. Also, the responsible thing in the first place is to keep mosquitos away, wear a rubber, and read scientific lit before choosing anything. Im just saying. This was fear mongering in reverse, but the point is the same. Repeal roe v wade, and the answer is no.

Yes But you roll the dice on That one. Some Women don't have the strength to take care of an 8 year old for 60 years.
