Out of all the gang members I’ve seen talking on these kinds of interviews this has got to be one of the most earnest guys that isn’t trying to look hard

Oh damn, I know this guy. See him around East London. Always with a smile on his face and joking around with people. A good guy.

I was part of the SW from 2008 until 2012 in the UK. He's right about the fact that they are more business minded and shadowy than most organised crime organisations.

I love how they've had to pop subtitles on for a British accent 😂 I can see how it could be tough for those not used to it, but it's still funny to see.

Not enough people are talking about the level of racism he experienced as a child. Like wtf is wrong with those grown men to hurt a young boy.

I grew up in Hong Kong. We had an older friend who looked out for us. He was a triad member but to us he was just a good guy. Always had money and loved to spoil us

Triads have had a presence in Ireland since the late 50s. Extremely rare you ever hear anything about them. You see them often enough if you know where to look, but rarely hear about them since they mostly interact with their own community.

I know this guy from the car audio world, he used to build some really loud car's back in the day, i had no idea his past life was like this, he was always extremely nice friendly and helpfull but you could also tell by the way he carried himself he just had something about him like he knew how to handle himself, not even in a tough guy way its hard to explain but it all makes sense now,

Went school with this brudda. He didn’t speak much English but understood everything. Met him in year 5. Was a good guy

This guy said he had fear for nothing and the look in his eyes showed it.

Behind his smile and friendly demeanor, you can sense an aura on him. The “I can send you to meet your maker if you want to” kind of aura.

These gang members need to watch these videos and listen carefully. Even if it only helps one of them today. Tomorrow and the next day others will hopefully follow. Life is too short. Family is everything. Do the right thing, like Richard did. Good luck.

My grandfather was connected to the Triads in NY and Hong Kong he was in the "import and export" business. He was a large white man who spoke Taiwanese and Cantonese. You would never know it by looking at him. He's passed away now. But one of the things I loved as a teen was when he would go to Hong Kong he would have someone shop for me and he'd bring back huge suitcases of clothes and shoes for me and it so exciting (it's a girl thing). I wouldn't know what he was involved with for over 60yrs until he passed and who showed up an the hundreds of white envelopes full of money. They respected him. My family was told to reach if we ever needed anything. My dad and my stepmother knew what he did but not any of us kids. I miss him so much, he was so wise. My father and I always bumped heads, by grandfather would say let her show her stubborn will, it will lead her in life. He was right, it just took a while to get there. ❤
