I've been crocheting for over 20 years and I have to say this is one of the best crochet tutorials I have ever watched. It's perfectly descriptive, I have no questions and it isn't loaded with any unnecessary or confusing information. I'm very impressed, good work!!!

Wow, you may be a beginner but your tutorial skills are ADVANCED. I've been crocheting only for a few months and what you've done is so smart and better than what most YT tutorials do in that you offer three different notations (the video of you crocheting, the symbols and the abbreviations) but you also make note of things that easily trip up beginners like which hole to stitch into. So smart and so proud of you for dreaming this up and leveling up the crochet video tutorial game.

How you were able to not only complete this but teach it so early in your crochet journey just blows my mind and I've been crocheting for 50 years! You rock girl!

I've crocheted for 45 years and watched this video because I love your Shorts and was curious about how a newbie would teach. This is the actual best learn to crochet tutorial I've ever seen. My daughter has been wanting to learn and I've sent her a link. Great job!

So, I have NOT been crocheting for over 20 years, not much more than about 20 days. I've watched your video and did it step by step - rewinding at least 10 times every round (even my husband now knows the stitches😂) -, pulling out at least a hundred times and starting all over.... I did it! So proud of myself!!! 🏆🏆🏆And English isn't even my mother tongue. Now I wanted to learn my friend but don't know the Dutch words for all the different stitches🤦‍♀. Thank you so much for sharing!

You stated once that people with ADHD shouldn’t start with granny squares and then you put out this and now I dont know if I should or shouldnt take up making granny squares. Thanks Elise, my head hurts

OMG, I’ve been crocheting for over 50 years. Your tutorial is amazing. The way you explain everything so clearly, and the graphics, the on screen abbreviations of the crochet stitches, where to place the stitch markers . You’re teaching people how to read a pattern. The best tutorial ever, I’m going to share this with my niece. You’re brilliant, thank you.

"Make sure you count 16 double crochet, ok check again, again, and again. Move on to your next row, why is it weird? Oh because you made 17 double crochet... Cool frog it and redo. Why is it weird again? How are there 14 when I undid one?! Ok count a thousand times and use a stitch marker for each stitch! There perfect!" -Me trying to make a circle project. But I love crocheting more than anything ❤

I’ve been crocheting for almost 10 years, and I wish this video was around when I started!! The beginner videos are nice, but I definitely was a “dive right in” kind of person. Anyone who knows how to crochet can see all the work you put into this video, and honestly it’s the easiest crochet tutorial I have been able to follow along with! Thank you so much for all that you do ❤❤

My partner is a big fan of your shorts, as he finds them hilarious and endearing. He was pretty stoked to inform me that you had made a crochet tutorial because I’m a crochet hound. I gotta say, this is one of the finest crochet tutorials I’ve ever come across! Thank you!
