Excellent video, really opened my eyes to what might be possible with Notion. Thanks for making it. I would really love to find some detailed videos that show Notion being used in an Online Retail scenario instead of task based scenarios. I know it can be really powerful for managing inventory, expenses, revenue, customer service etc but I haven't quite got my head around exactly how to set it all up and link everything to take full advantage of the power of Notion. Anyway I've subscribed and will watch more of your videos, keep up the good work.

Hi Danny, thanks so much for this video. I'm hitting a problem where when I create a relation to another table, I'm not getting the related column in the other table. eg at 00:37 you've created a relation from projects to tasks, and a column appears in the tasks table saying 'related to PROJECTS' - this is what I'm unable to get. I'm not exactly sure why.... any ideas? Thanks!

Danny, I realized that I cannot change the type for the first column of a table in Notion. I need to have a table that record every of my stock buy/sell transaction. Currently the first column is the stock ticker name. So if I have 10 transaction of TSLA stock, then I I have 10 rows of data with the 1st column as TSLA. Now, problem is I have another table that reference to this table. So when I do the relation, I will get 10 "TSLA" in that table column which is not so "meaningful". As a result, I was thinking of changing the 1st column to maybe "Latest Transaction Date", then at least when I get 10 different date in the relation table, it is much more "meaningful" and I know which one I want to read.

Danny, may I know how to make a column in the table to contain only UNIQUE data, same like the primary key in database?

Hi Danny, at 0:21 you clicked below the first table and created another with '/table'. When I place my mouse cursor anywhere other than IN the first table, nothing happens. No new block is formed (table or otherwise). I cant click below the first table in order to type /table, to creat the 2nd table. Nor if I place the cursor at the end of the heading "relations & rollups", then click 'return on the keyboard... nothing happens. I cant find a reason for this. In other words I can create 1 table in the page called 'relations and rollups', but after that I can only click in the cells of that table to enter data, I cant click outside it to create any other blocks. Is this a paid vs free version issue? I havent used up all my free blocks as I still make lots of other blocks on other pages. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

I've made a daily journal that reflects all my tracking items, then i used the "rollup" feature to combine my habits in the weekly review database.
When i tried to utilize the same concept on monthly review, I didn't find the rollup feilds!!! Can I create a monthly rollup made from weeks rollups?
