Martin 00018 12 Fret 1927 played by Jim Zwinselman | Demo

Показать описание
Long-scale, 000 sized 12-fret Martins from the late 20’s are among the most sought-after prewar instruments. Before the OM was introduced a couple years later, this was the biggest and loudest Martin guitar of that era. And after more than 90 years, this 00018 will captivate you with its mature, resonant, and articulated sound.
1927 was the first year Martin changed the bracing and top thickness to accommodate steel strings. This 12-fret 00018 from 1927 has been professionally restored and plays wonderfully. It has a patch on the bass side of the body and one repaired crack on the back of the body. While the body has had a refin, the neck has gotten an overspray and a thin layer of ebony has been placed on top of the original fretboard.
Thanks to these repairs, it is now in a very good condition and ready to cross that 100 years mark! Comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
Consignment.
Gear:
Ear Trumpet Labs Evelyn Stereo Microphone
