Is Drogon's Head bigger than Caraxes' and Meley's

We here are going to compare the various designs and sizes of dragon heads seen in Game of thrones and House of the Dragon Tv shows which are in the same universe.
The dragons like Drogon, Viserion, Seasmoke and Dreamfyre have a similar facial structure while Sunfyre and Syrax are similar to each other in both the snout, skull frame and colour.
There are also Dinosaurian shape dragon heads like those of Vermax, Arrax and Vhagar. So lets get into it.

4:18 imo vhagar's head design was clearly inspired by komodo dragons. It baffles me how so few people share the same thought

I hate when people use the undead viserion as a example as if he wasn’t strong before

So danys three eggs come from dreamfyre right? People have been saying so which explains why they looks so similar.

So it seems like:
- Balaerion (most probably), Dreamfyre, Seasmoke, and Danny's dragons are all the same breed.
- Meleys, Syrax and even Sunfyre (maybe) might be the same breed.
- Caraxes seems to be a mutation of Syrax's breed.
- And Vhagar is just an exception. I don't remember seeing any other dragon have a thing down it's throat or have a crocodile/comodo dragon shaped head.

Would love to hear others' thoughts on this.

Balerion is now expected to be small than he was in the books. Because how would an auroch fit in that skull? It's so small

I think caraxes was kinda bigger. Seeing how Daemon was the height of half of caraxes’ head height.

Love these videos. Seems pretty accurate. Though I think you focus a bit too much on just the dragons' ages and don't take their circumstances over the years enough into account, especially because of how important that is when it comes to dragon growth. For example, I'm not so sure about Dreamfyre being bigger than Drogon. I think she's smaller judging by the scene in the pit. Just look at how short and thin her arms are compared to s7+ Drogon. If I'm not mistaken, Dreamfyre spent more than half of her life in the pit and rarely left. She was also described as a slender dragon who, despite being older than Vermithor, was considerably smaller than him. So she's probably a prime example of how locked up dragons end up with stunted growth.

I also noticed in multiple of your videos that you keep placing Viserion after Rhaegal in these size comparison lists, making it look like Viserion is the slightly bigger one of the two/the same size. But according to the books, Viserion is the smallest of Dany's dragons. Rhaegal is slightly bigger than him. It's not that big of a difference of course so no need to change the measurement estimates. But I think it'd be more accurate if you put Rhaegal after Viserion instead and mention the slight size difference.

I get a funny feeling looking at Meleys with only her head knowing what would happen to her head after Rook's Rest

Drogon in the book was around the size of Arrax.

Caraxes is not deformed. He's one of the 3 types of dragons.

That wasnt Dreamfyre we saw in the pit, it was Seasmoke. You can tell by the wing colors. I dont get why people claim it was Dreamfyre when it has never been stated as such

Please hotd and got dragons wing size comparison

Caraxes often isn’t animated like he’s larger or weighs more than Drogon; even if he’s supposed to be bigger his physics don’t suggest to the viewer that he is the larger dragon. To the uninformed I think the confusion in scale is understandable

although people's skull sizes are small compared to their own heads, the same is true for balerions. The skull bone alone of the balerion is much larger than the head of the vhagar. vhagar was 75-80 meters tall in season 2. Balerion was a dragon estimated to be over 100 meters tall during the time of Viserys.
