#Istanbul Scam to watch out for Part 1

If you’re visiting #istanbul #Turkey then watch out for this scam at the airport and in the city. Since there is no #Uber cars. The uber app uses taxi drivers where they input the total cost of the ride manually and can add a number higher than what they’re suppose to charge you. I would make sure to watch the number they put in. There’s no need to get into a confrontation since you can reach out to Uber support to get the amount adjusted if you’re overcharged. In turkey you have to bargain on almost everything, you are asian and it is not your culture, i would not say they were scamming you as you "thought" about a price. Speak clear. You are not at home anymore.
