I Took an IQ Test and the Results Were...Interesting

Flat Earthers are constantly telling me I am stupid, so I thought I'd take an IQ test to find out. The results were interesting to say the least.

I took an IQ test two years in a row. The second year it showed 1 point less. That was maybe 20 years ago. No wonder I drool a lot more now.

I took a IQ test once. They were amazed at my score, said they had never seen an score like it before. Apparently according to my IQ I'm brain dead.

I took an IQ test qnd selected "Im a flat Earther" for the first answer. The test immediately ended and it gave me a zero.

In general, I always quote Einstein on aptitude/IQ tests as saying "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."

But we're talking flat earth... so a better quote might be "The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits."

A flat earther calling you dumb or uneducated is the highest level of irony possible and lack of self awareness are off the charts aswell

Thing about Flat Earthers is that, if they got a low score on an IQ test, then the test was fixed to make sure they failed, that's how Flat Earth minds work.

I never found these online tests to be accurate. I used to do them online and always got a score between 120/140. Then I had to do an official one with a psychiatrist for mental health reasons, and I got an average score of 105. The official one is also way more elaborate with a ton of different topics. Not just logical thinking.

Don't worry about not joining Mensa; it's a real sign of intellect to know it's not worth the membership fee for bragging rights.

Very brave. I think you’d have been faster had you not been explaining your logic. I did very similar testing as part of psychometric assessment after a bang on the head. It was exhausting. I was advised to do an hour of art a day, and that really worked for me. The brain is amazing.

I've tested extremely high on IQ tests all my life - I joined Mensa just so I could get the membership card and say I was a "card carrying genius" as a joke. When I admit to people I've scored as high as 185 on proctored tests, they look shocked, but I've thought about it a lot, and I've come to the conclusion that an IQ score is simply a measure of how well you take IQ tests, and nothing more. I've met a lot of very dumb people that joined Mensa, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if some of them were Flerfs.
