Mission 10: Angel With Broken Wings
When you ride north on the western road you will trigger the convoy. Put your horse on the road to stop the vehicles. Now take out the guards in the jeep and destroy the tank (sneak up from behind and place C4). Extra via helicopter.
If you have the fully upgraded fulton device you can extract the tank for bonus points rather than destroying it.

There are two golden rules for getting S-ranks:
1. Don't try it on your first playthrough (a lot of strategies only work when replaying missions and you will unlock better gear over the course of the game).
2. Skip all cutscenes to save time (yes, cutscenes add to your time and will greatly reduce your points!)

S-Rank Strategies, basic tips and things you should know:
- Getting 130,000 points in a mission unlocks the S-rank (same score requirement for all missions)
- Only main missions have a ranking system, side ops don't. Main missions 02, 22, 43 are an exception, they don't have any ranks. There are 50 main missions in total.
- Completing the missions as quickly as possible without being seen is usually good enough. Skip the bonus objectives, they take too long and will complicate things.
- Equipping the Invisibility Camo, Parasite Suit, Raiden Suit, Cyborg Ninja Suit, Chicken-Hat, Infinity Bandana, using D-Walkers Fulton Ballista or calling in air strikes / helicopter support will void the S-rank. With these items you are limited to A-rank at best. So don't use them!
- On your first playthrough of the missions, always try to take out the enemy radar stations. This gives you a huge tactical advantage because you can call the extraction helicopter directly to the enemy base (or start the mission there).
- S-Ranks earn you a lot more money and heroism than lower ranks

With these tips in mind you should have very little trouble following these video guides and obtaining all S-ranks. Be warned, however, that the game uses a variable difficulty system. If you use a lot of headshots, enemies will get helmets. If you always infiltrate at night, enemies will get night vision goggles. If you always use sleeping grenades, enemies will wear gas masks etc.
In this walkthrough series I stick to the basics to make it as easy to replicate as possible. These guides are fairly spoiler free as I skip the cutscenes to save time.

The possibilities in this game is amazing! This was actually my first S rank, but i did it TOTALLY different and much easier.... I started the mission at night...cutoff and jumped the route like he did in this video, and had my horse TAKE A DUMP in the middle of the street....when the truck drives over it....it spins out of control and the two enemies get disabled for a while...and i just ran up and took the prisoner and ran off to my extract point...did use 1 bullet. LOL

A much easier way is just to throw a decoy in the road, and activate it when the jeep approaches. When the jeep stops, throw a sleep grenade at the soldiers that get out. Then make your way around the boulder and to the back of the armored vehicle that stopped behind the jeep. Fulton it away and then call your support chopper in. Fulton the soldiers in the jeep if you want, and grab Malak (you can't fulton him, even in the jeep he falls out) and take him to the extraction point. This way you get a couple of vehicles to sell and possibly a couple high stat soldiers.

I managed to sneak to the truck and drive off with Malak. Quickly called the chopper and out. Sure they saw me but I still got an S.

I did this slightly differently, i didn't use D-Horse or a cardboard box as a road block, after 4 attempts at this mission where the car always drove past while i was trying to shoot the drivers with non lethal weapons i just used an ENM mine to stop the car, the game will tell you that the prisoner is dead he isn't the game just thinks he is for some reason then extract him no need to take out the tank that's following the jeep.

You can S rank this and still save everyone, but you have to move like a frakin cheetah.

Screw Malik initially. Get the 3 prisoners from the palace and stay stealthy. D-Dog was a life save for this one. Once you have them book it towards Malik. (One of the prisoners will spill the beans on where he is heading.) Approach the fort around the rear entry and subdue what you have to. B-Line to the prisoners (D-Dog will highlight them) and fulton them instantly. I just did it from inside the base. Then grab Malik and run him out to the Northern Air Extraction point up the hill to the rear of the base.

I could NOT do the fort part without using reflex. It was daytime and I was not even attempting to wait for situations to be perfect. Riot SMG. Headshot. Move.

I even fultoned guards I didn't want/need... just so they wouldn't wake up or be discovered later.

It can be done, but I won't say it was the funnest experience I had with the game.

theres a a slightly easier way to do this, call the chopper and then just go to the road he goes to, make your horse defecate and wait, then take out the tank with the c4 and drive off to the chopper and fly away, i did this in the morning and it worked fine, if the people are waking up while ur taking out the tank shoot them with a tranquilizer gun and just take the jeep with the prisoner to the chopper and leave. it will get u good gmp and a vehicle specialist for the upgraded vehicle falcon

This is one of the most difficult missions

I followed it until prison and a sandstorm came so I went in the room without anyone seeing me and I called in air support to distract guards and escaped

Step 2. S rank. I'm not kidding. the entire mission rests on D horse and boxes.
