Oh wow this sounds sooo gooood on vinyl. Another favorite of mine from Joy Division Unknown Pleasure '79. This music was so far ahead of its time. People tended to freak out over here in New Zealand at the time as it simply blew their minds. I can remember a friend said he'd talked to a girl about Joy Division's music and she'd told him it sounded 'depressing'. Thing was she was bred on bubble-gum pop music Michael Jackson stuff...And then along came 'Shadowplay' from Joy Division....lol! The thing was Joy Division played REAL in-your-face music of truths from the past. And many people are simply afraid of the truth...As Jack Nicolson as 'Colonel Nathan R. Jessup' said in 'A Few Good Men': You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lieutenant Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can  fathom. You weep for Santiago, and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives.'...
