At least you can set stop loss in ETF in the event of down turn.
But in Mutual Funds, I don't see how fund managers manage to reduce losses. They have the obligation to keep the funds invested and not laying cash around.

90% of fund managers are unable to beat market returns in the long run. Its a fact. For someone who just buy an ETF that tracks the index, he/she is already beating 90% of investors without lifting a finger

Mutual funds is like cake which looks great and overprice but taste the same. Only the fund managers will actually become rich.

@6:40 I thought we should be buying more during down trend especially for time proven etfs that follows the S&P 500 index😯

My portfolio for the past 30 years has always been self managed and I own 3 shares of RPC WEALTH IAF Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) which I bought in at about $17, 000 during the mid 90s, I’m currently liquidating some of these positions to incorporate new Gen. Stocks, but am I better off re-investing into Gold as it seems stocks are a little too unstable right now.

The best part is when u eventually find out that your mutual fund actually holding the same tickers as the S&P500 index 😂
