Annika Sorenstam 2:1 favorite to win American Century at Edgewood

The LPGA Hall of Famer quit competitive golf 11 years ago...until now. In mid-July Sorenstam will be the player to beat at Tahoe South when the 25th American Century Championship tees off at Edgewood. Annika won 89 times against fellow females, but failed to make the cut in her lone effort against the men at Colonial in 2003. Her competition this time are accomplished amateur celebrity players with a pro sport pedigree. Defending Champion Billy Joe Tolliver is installed at 9:2 with other former multi-time winners Rick Rhoden and actor Jack Wagner listed at 5:1 and 7:1 respectively. Charles Barkley is 5000-1.
