homogenic is hands down one of the best albums of all time

"How Scandinavian of me" is a cultural reference. Orderly, punctual, clinical, neat, clean, straight lines, lots of natural light... basically the opposite of the messy and unpredictable nature of freedom and being a predator on the prowl.

She has an album of all vocal, no instruments. It's called "Medulla." There's some great beat box and throat singing. The Inuit women's choir is excellent. For me her Vespertine album is my favorite.

I've noticed that Volta tends to be at the bottom of the list for fans. I enjoy all her albums for different reasons tho. Homogenic (pronounced homo-jenic) is a brilliant album.

Debut and Post are great albums to hear Bjork’s upbeat and lively sound with a few interesting exceptions. Homogenous is a very mature change and beginning of her songs becoming even more experimental musically.

What makes Homogenic one of Fan's Top 3 faves (Post & Vespertine) is its cohesiveness and flow from 1 track to another. Hunter is Great song but Shines as an intro to the Entire Album, not on its own. IMHO (a Loyal devoted Bjork fan ) . May I suggest You Listen to the Entire Album, Perhaps a Reaction. You will have an even deeper appreciation for her.

I love this song. I love Bjork. It would be awesome if you did more Bjork reactions! Also, you pronounced her name perfectly. And Volta ranks pretty low in the fandom, relatively. But it’s Bjork so we still like it.

Always love some Bjork. Super creative and talented with a unique voice and vocal styling. What's not to like?

Great reaction, Justin. You’ve described it quite well.
I’ve become a Bjork fan over the last few years, with this album, Post, and Vespertine, being my favorites. The two lead off racks from Post were my gateway, and highly recommended to all as they’re both accessibly weird.

From Volta I love her collabs w/ timbaland like Innocence & earth intruders. But my fave bjork albums are Vespertine & Homogenic. Post & debut are her most commercially successful hit albums what i love about Bjork is her being the producer, mixer & writer

react to Body Memory from her album Utopia. It's mind bending!!

Joga is definitely the class of the album. Recommendation for you based on that would be The Grace from Neverending White Lights. Similar orchestral sonic impact, similar powerful and desperate vocalization. Single went to #2 in Canada from their debut album, and the entire catalog is incredible if you're into that more layered and complex composition.

You need to see the video to this. It’s pure genius. So is the song and video for, All is Full of Love.

You need to watch the music video for Hunter!!! While listening you were moving your head in a similar manner to how she moves hers in the video. In the video, she becomes the hunter!

I love the aural textures of this song.
Oh, you just said that too - but much better.

listening to you trying to describe her music is amusing and relatable. The whole genius about Bjork is that she is so "next level" that it's almost a divine experience to sit and listen to it and subject yourself to immersing yourself in a song such as Hunter. The music and creativity is difficult to explain because her muse taps into a place not of this world. She is amazing

I adore Bjork! The Las Von Trier movie, "Dancer in the Dark", starring Bjork is heartbreakingly beautiful.
