The line of succession is a matter not taken lightly. It is therefore expected that those in line to the throne, stand a good public eye.
Queen Elizabeth the Second has died, and with Charles as our new king - the future is looking bright given the nature of our future kings of Britain.
The monarchy has evolved, and has undergone a huge deal of change over the last 1000 years. The line of succession is one that is looking sharp, but is also one that is bound to change.
The examples of the previous monarchs continue to build strong relationships for the generations of monarchs to come.

I’m all for keeping it positive and respectful, but implying Charles ignited his flame with Camila after Diana’s death is a little too much fluff for me

I'm so glad Prince William chose to be a survivor, and not a victim, as a result of his mother's death. He is admired and respected around the world and will be a wonderful King; just like his father. Thanks for sharing this entertaining and enjoyable documentary. The future of the British Monarchy is in good hands!!!

This was not entirely truthful. Charles didn't "reignite" the flame between he and Camilla. She was there the entire time maintaining an affair nearly the entire marriage.

Dialogue improved with the Wales thankfully. I liked the inclusion of Prince William paying tribute to his Father’s legacy of the Princes Trust & crediting him as well as their Mother with imbuing him & his brother with the value of giving to others.

Grandmother Queen Isabel II should be proud of her lineage of family and legacy as queen; they all very dutiful, holding strongly to the traditions they were given since childhood not easily I imagine.. Great atmosphere, and historic documentary!

I'm a huge fan of the British monarchy. I adored Elizabeth, and I respect and love and understand King Charles as well. I'm sorry that I didn't have the opportunity to see Elizabeth, and I know that I won't see Charles either, even though it's a big wish of mine. Greetings from SERBIA ❤

She would have been Queen regardless, just not 70 years.

Correction:
At 13:36 Charles did *not* "reignite the flame with his long-time friend after Diana's death".
He never had ceased seeing CPB, even after both she and he had married other people. Historically, at the wedding alter, he spoke a lie and never skipped a beat.
As for the Queen's wishes, at 13:57, QE2 did not have whatever it took to do what should have been done, which is to declare that the crown should skip over him if he did not give up CPB, the way her Uncle had been made to do with WS.
After all, quite contrary to rules for succession, Charles married a divorced non-virgin whose ex-husband was still alive, a woman with whom he had a long affair before marriage and after.

Ive heard it commented, time and again, that Elizabeth wasnt supposed to inherit. But even if "Uncle David" hadnt abdicated, he still had no children, hence the heir to the throne still would have been her father, except he died before his brother, which then it wouldve become Elizabeth. She wouldnt have been criwned until her uncle died, so her reign wouldnt have been as long, but it would have been her to become the Queen. Am I not right?
