This guy isn’t lying, if you own parrots or birds, I have had birds die instantly because of the fumes from these kind of pans. Just because it doesn’t effect you like that right away doesn’t mean it’s not toxic

I can cook anything with stainless or cast iron.
No need for anything else.
There is no water source in the world (no matter how remote) that teflon is not detectable.

This is off topic about cookware, however, it is about ceramic. I had to get a full hip replacement after getting hit by a tractor trailer at 36. I have a ceramic hip because it is better than the traditional titanium that they use for many reasons it is better. So if you’re someone who may need any kind of bone replacement, please do your research!!! Fight your insurance and the change the doctor if you have to!

Wishing you all the best!

Sending loving energy everyone’s way! Namaste!

I went with all stainless steel. Al- clad. They are the best. And way lighter then ceramic and more durable.

I've read that if you scratch or chip ceramic pans you can get chemicals from the glaze they use to coat the pans.

And in five years we'll all be hearing the same thing about ceramic. There's always something.

Not to mention cooking with pans with PFOAs or PFTEs is toxic and deadly for pet birds since they have a more sensitive respiratory system. Even if you cook in another room, the chemicals released can sadly harm or kill a pet bird. We use stainless steel and ceramic for the health of our humans and birds! I’m glad you are spreading awareness about the dangers of Teflon.

Since PTFE (Teflon) defining attributes are non-stick and excellent chemical resistance, it’s unlikely you will get sick will accidentally swallowing a small chip or particle.

PTFE can only escape the pan when heating past 500 degrees, there’s only been 3 case of Teflon poisoning, two from a factory that deal with these chemicals and one civilian from Japan who accidentally left his pan on the burner for hours with nothing cooking in it.

I am feeling overwhelmed here. 😕 I just cannot stay on top of all the many things I need to change up in order to be healthy. Most things you discuss I've been exposed to for years. It never ends. Financially, we are just trying to survive over here. The last 2 generations of my family have been poisoning me with Teflon and aluminum. And I did the same to my boys. It's too much today. Hitting my breaking point today. 😥

I overheated a non stick pan a few years ago and the smell made me throw it out, cast iron for the win!

I live near a company that was responsible for polluting our water with all these chemicals. They originally were found downstream but they were made to test around their perimeter. Tests have come back and the water from 8 miles upstream is also polluted. They are required to supply us with bottled water or in home water filtration systems.
