My ancestry on my Mother's side is Greek. Both my Grandmother and Grandfather were born and raised in Sparta and Athens. They both came to America in the early 1900's. I am more Greek (50%) than English and love my Greek heritage! We celebrated many Greek traditions with my 12 Greek Aunts, Uncles and their families. Wonderful memories from times long gone... Epidavros theatre is such a treasure. The place where so many thousands plays were presented, the place were drama, tragedy and comedy came to exist. The leaps made in ancient Greece are mind boggling.
