Islamicly have articles on why they think companies like FB are compliant (not saying I agree with them and I’m not invested in them anyway). Also i believe all these stocks are in islamic index funds so I’m not sure what to do because I wanted to invest in hsbc islamic index fund. Thanks for covering.

*Considering the fact in short term with low capital I can't live off investments, I believe going the business route is better, more risky but once I figure it out, it's better, because I don't want to be involved in riba, in business obviously there would be some questionable stuff like advertising to get customers, product itself, but at the very least I can stay away from riba*

*If you had to start a business what would it be?*

Saying social media is haram while posting this video on social media. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Salaam
If you buy these stocks, you basically own a part of these companies (a small one, but still). so you need to make sure all their activities are halal and ethical. and if you do your research, you will find out that most if not all of them will be involved in smth unethical or haram (google, amazon, microsoft are involved in uyfhur forced labor and they all probably have connections to israel). So I would let them go. Please do your research.

Holyshit, you know how zoya is so strict and lists many many and especially top companies as questionable and stuff right?
i checked out the holdings of isdw with the zoya app. i checked the top 17 holdings on isdw with zoya. All of them are complient and only one is not coz of interest bearing debt greater than 30% which is probably very recent. This is mind blowing and shows how ishares are going next level to make sure the company is halal for us to invest in compared to other companies like sp-funds(spus) and wahed(hlal)
If you look at spus, among the top 10, 5 is already questanable.
Perhaps you can mention this in your next video and say how isdw is very very safe in terms of halalness compared to spus and other etfs.
