My game idea for my long-term Godot project

Here's my first Frostbook devlog, after working on the idea, story concepts and 2 teasers for about 2 years. The game went through a lot of changes, but I don't want to talk about it that much as I'll make a seperate video about it sometime.
I'm giving myself 2-3 years to finish this project, with the goal of making a video about it every week, this being the first one.
This is also my first week of experience with Godot after using Unity for 3 years, and it has been great so far.
(apart from somehow me managing to corrupt all my scenes somehow)

Personally, I usually prefer first person controls, I find third person harder to control and maybe a bit clunkier. I also prefer the first person experience.

As for the terrain generation, I'm not a game dev so I can't really speak here, but terrain made with 3D noise sounds more appealing to me.
