You don't have to buy a domain name with every web hosting plan you buy. You can re-use domains by pointing their DNS A record to the IP address of any web hosting provider or use the nameservers to get this done automatically.

You can also create as many free subdomains from 1 domain name as you like and use those subdomains on different web hosting providers. In this video, I'll show you how to achieve this!

Keep in mind that changing anything in the DNS area takes anywhere from 10minutes to several hours to take effect. So be patient!
