MR COACH PHILIP. You are absolutely RIGHT! You said everything about it. I am turning 28 at the end of this year and I started playing squash with a friend year and a half ago. Before that we used to just body workout at the gym for about 2 years and we saw all these people playing this weird sport that is not popular back home. We were doing cardio on the treadmill that one day and my friend asked me If I wanna hit the ball with him because he also wanted to lose some weight and played it once or twice in his life before and said its a great workout and fun. So I decided to buy some HEAD Xenon racquet for 100$ and balls. Only that one game made me love this sport so much. I have 2-3 play session a week NECESSARY until now and still going WITHOUT BREAKS (ok... maybe 1 week twice because I did some hardcore 2-3h sessions and had to pay for it with pain) I am very addicted to squash now and sometimes I exhaust myself because of it LOL. Feeling hip or knee or shoulder, but those small injuries show me that I might also not be doing something right and I focus more on technique. For the last 2 months I did maybe 8-10 solo practice sessions with just drives and side to side and made tremendous improvements to my game (thanks to you COACH!!!). I am also watching PSASQUASHTV and think about decisions pros make and watch their body language. It is very satisfying hitting those lines on the court, putting pressure on your opponent or make some sick deceitful shot. I also met a lot of friends and big friendly squash community, I am added to 2 social groups and now I have a problem making schedules because there are so many players and I want to play with everybody. I also have seen one insanely ego tripping guy who had anger management issues after loss with others.

Thanks Coach again for your content. You might not know how helpful it is for many players and I always recommend You ;)

It is my favorite sport. Ali Farag, number one in the men’s PSA world squash rankings, does not have more fun than me playing squash. I know.
Transmites la misma pasión por este deporte tal cual yo la siento cuando juego.
Enhorabuena. Muchas gracias.

Good day coach. You mentioned you might get injured. I am 30 years of age and tore my achilles tendon last year October in a squash match. The doctor said I will most likely be out for at least a year. I am busy with rehabilitation at a biokineticist.

I know injuries differ and that experts knows best. In your squash experience and coaching capacity, what can one do to try and stay in touch with your game? I am so afraid that I will be losing so much of my improvement I've made over the last few years when I get back on court in the future, and my heart is broken that I can't play at the moment.

So I guess there is a few questions here. How does one try to stay in touch with one's game? How does one stay positive to know you can make a comeback? And lastly, when one does get back on court after injury, how do you get your confidence back to give 100% again?

The injury always stays at the back of your mind... I'm sure others can relate to these things with similar or different injuries that can affect their games.

Thanks for great content and the effort you put into it. Your passion for the game is inspiring.

Regards from South Africa.
