Would a successful fight for Medicare for all that then got overthrown by the Supreme Court set the political stage for revising the role of the courts. Opposition to electoral college certainly grew after elections where the winner lost the popular vote.

If you actually increase the House of Reps.. That could do a lot to weaken the Senate, or at least piss people off more that a majority in the House is not getting what we want because of the Senate..

You have to get people really upset to wake people up..

Who cares if court packing woud provoke counter-packing? The whole thing shouldn't exist or be constitutionally permitted to overule legislation passed by congress and president at all. Let it become delegitimised by packing and counter packing - all the better for getting rid of it and working for a new constitution.
