Nightmare is stronger than Epic. Epic is more durable since he has that eye, and Nightmare doesn’t have a proper def. Nightmare has no way of killing Epic, but I don’t think Epic has any certified way to kill Nightmare (mostly anyone can kill Nightmare, but they have to hit all of him).

Bruh Nightmare destorys Epic, Nightmare durability surpasses most sanses even error sans would have a hard time dealing with it, and epic is just a regular au which error could destory and nightmare regeneration is insanely powerful more powerful than abyss sans own, Now if Nightmare sans has low negativity this fight would be much closer but nightmare would still win and since nightmare has 500 years of experience he knows alot more than most sans and nightmare could use his tentacles as a defense and offense, And if nightmare has High negativity like we saw in underverse he destorys epic with low diff, Sure epic sans has a eye that can't let him die, But if you are able to kill him (cuz strong beings are able to kill him and nightmare is one of them) he will be back in an instant that technically counts as a lost since he did die but they never demonstrated if he gets his stamina back or not so anyways and if they have prep time nightmare could use the murder time trio as his pawn first and then finish of epic since epic would be weakned a bit by them so basically nightmare with low negativity

Nightmare would win due to the fact that despite The personality epic is showing, he is deeply depressed, still traumatized, sad, angry and suicidal in some way, it counts as negative emotions and due to it being strong nightmare can make it as his advantage, BUT if I'm correct epic is unkillable unless it's his father he's fighting, he cannot die with his eye and it cannot be taken off by anyone else other than gaster, epic does indeed have alot of advantage but Nightmare has one ultimate advantage

fax(everything am bout tosay is from he's article from the offsprings wiki) it was said that he's one of the most experienced people in the entire multiverse coz of everytime he gose to sleep he is in a survival nightmare and he has to survive as much time as possible and he well only wake up from the nightmare if he died inside of it also it was said that just 3 epic blasters r as strong as a literal nuke and if 3 were to combine into one beam it would be even stronger plus he's eye makes him immortal and only he's creator(yogur) and epic gaster can get the eye out so he isn't immortal anymore nor can he use the epic blasters and nightmare isn't immortal he only has insane regeneration so yeah epic dominites him in every category
