Wait... The Falmer used to have black souls when they were Snow Elves, now they are white... Dwemer constructs run on soulgems... The Dwemer only ever had access to white soul gems, they never did find out how to make black ones... So they created the Falmer to meet their demand of souls! Those guys were HARDCORE.

I always hated the fact that a Falmer soul could only fill regular soul gems and not Black soul gems alone. They are not just some beast, they are a race of people.

Before you blame the Nords, remember that the Falmer tried to kill all the Atmoran that tried to land on Skyrim

There are no innocents in this world, friends, not the Nords, Dwemer, or Falmer. Only varying degrees of guilt, and uncalled-for acts of "vengeance"

Truly one of Elder scrolls most compelling narratives. The Falmer/ Dwemer stories, while not particular original in its components, the mix of them became one of the best stories told.

Is it weird that I feel sorry for the Falmer ? (not the current goblin ones, the ones that are now extinct except for Paladin Gelbor).

Yes I know they were jerks and caused the night of tears or whatever, but every race in Tamriel are complete assholes with the biggest offenders being the Dunmer and the Altmer, and they are still around, unlike the Falmer...

You know why this episode is the best in this series by far? Because it mostly about LORE! Not about the adventures of the schoolgirl and the Dragonborn. Make more of these and you're golden. Also, the fallout storyteller has gotten a bit dull in this last season. Only thing that saves that show is the guy with the big mouth, aka the lore.
