What about Structure???
You Forgot Structure !

It's interesting because sonnets are usually romantic poems, but this poem is about Ozymandias' love for power.
Another thing I'd like to add is that Shelley was a political radical, and it's possible that this poem was written as a message to the British parliament which was, at the time, oppressive. Shelley's poem gives a powerful message to them, saying "Nothing lasts forever".

Very helpful! Perhaps do this for the other poems? If you have time of course! Pretty nervous for my exams this May but thanks to your videos I'm aiming for an A!

Thanks again for sharing. These short videos are great to watch at the beginning of a revision session. They can act as quick recap: you can take notes, reflect and then expand your notes by watching your more detailed videos. So helpful. :)

Ever since I knew who you were
You have made me cry and laugh
Made me feel like an entrepreneur

Because of you I’m passing my GCSEs

Rachel KavanaghI know you're probably not going to see this but I just have a question on "of mice and men" I used a few of your techniques for my homework for example, not writing as if the characters are real people and answereing the question with what Steinbeck used the characters for but my English teacher told me it wouldn't really be the way to write it in an exam and I should focus more on giving my own thoughts instead. Do you have any suggestions on why that is and if I should still answere exam questions the way you say to. I live in Ireland so maybe the exam answered are different.1 day ago•1

Mr Bruff - My English teacher has recommended revising Three poems - Ozymandius Remains and Storm On The Island - Are these the best poems to revise, if not which would be best?
Thanks in advance!

Form: Sonnet- used s a satire to show that Ozymandias loved himself too much
Structure: Archaic and antiquated (old-fashion) way of poetry (14 lines, last 4 alternating)
