This is the reason when I go to the race track I could care less about top fuel & funny car .

Stock and Super stock is the class that I go to see that I love .

What a beautiful car, amazing interview and very informative! Need more videos like this! I love seeing the factory classes and the bracket cars run. NHRA destroyed prostock and turned it into another GM clone bubble car class!

These cars are also my favorite. (Except, only with a stick). Building a car with limitations, and the 1st one to the finish line is what it was all about. Couldn't stand it when brackets evolved. Only go now-a-days, to test the car. Thanks for posting.

I've always been interested in the Stock Eliminator class and how they are able to do the big wheelstands. Where can I find an explanation of what's involved for a wheelstand such as a trans brake, special torque converter, tall gears, special shocks, etc. ?

Can someone explain to me the letters for the class. Why is his car for example C/SA, what does that actually stand for ?

for the Intake Manifold, I would like to see if he swapped an Edelbrock Performer RPM for the factory intake as a test to see what difference it would make with same set up. I dont think it would run quicker

Can someone explain the meaning of rated hp from NHRA? Is it the hp you have to run or something else? I’d like to understand that detail

The 3 gallon fuel tank makes more sense to me now

Yeah, bracket racing is racing against a time you give them, in Stock class, you're running against the other cars. I love class racing, you just have to be the fastest in your class

I think they should make a equalizer motor a Ford Chevy dodge/Mopar and then you can run that motor it's sealed makes a decent amount of horsepower and will wheelie the car of course and make lower and you also get a weight break of 120lbs if you run the sealed motor that would make it cheaper for guy to compete or new guy to be able to be competitive

"Add 160 lbs. for the driver..." OK so, I'd be like Chris Farley in the Kentucky Derby then.

Stock? A 440 in a Barracuda with aluminum heads? They have gotten away from anything stock it's ridiculous.

These are the most impressive cars because of what they accomplish with the original parts it came with. A race car built from a catalog by your local "expert" is nothing like what these guys do.
