It is sad that permanent AWD with crown gear differential is now replaced with Ultra-Quattro system that is essentially front-wheel drive until computer decides. No matter how you look at it – it is a reactive system, very similar to cheap systems used on RAV4, CRV, and many other predominantly front wheel drive cars. This system will have more under-steer, will be more unpredictable in the corners, and it is unclear can in ever send more torque to the rear wheels that to the front wheels? Crown gear differential could send up to 85% of the torque to the rear wheels, making cars feel sporty, handle well in the corners and fun to drive. Even though the design of this model is beautiful, I guess my current Audi is the last one that I will own.

i dont understand ...audi has always based the advertisement on his permanent awd system saying that the torsen system was the best and blablablabla and now they are saying that this ultra system that is not permanet and not mechanical like the torsen based is also very good and is fantastic because the costumer save money with fuel. at this point i buy the passat with aldex 5 and i save 10000 eruos
