unpopular opinion this music should have not had a calm version, the combat version should have played whether there are enemies around or not. would help emphasize how this layer is always in stasis of war.

0:55 i love the fact that this part of the piano, simulates a machine gun fire and sometimes it perfectly matches the bullet trail seen in the background

I was subconsciously expecting the fattest bass drop at 1:32 (i listen to the ost version almost every day)

Its a little strange seeing people say they were “close” to an apocolypse. As if the Earthmovers didnt *actually* make the world inhospitable.

I love the fact that the sirens doesn't play in the calm version in 1:13

I really really really REALLY hope that 1:13 will be the p-3 motif. Like how we had the motif from 2-2 for p-1

1:13 i love the low piano notes here. the “bum bum-ba-dun-na” rhythm (that was kind of a bad explanation but idk how else to describe it), paired with the 6/4 time signature is absolute ear candy

This song feels like an aftermath of the Final War. The normal(?) song sounds really aggressive, like you are in the ACTUAL warzone with these drums that represent gutterman's machine gun.

The calm version sounds really depressing, the aftermath of the Final War, the realization of how humans were close to an actual apocalypse with the Earthmovers.

POV: you in 7 - 2 and stop walking to see the earthmovers

i cant be the only one that thinks the calm version sounds more threatening than the combat version right

even the calm version isn't calm, shows the gravity of the final war

Ngl i like to go on the vrchat map of this and listen to this while staring at the earthmovers in the distance thinking on how terrifying it will be if the final war happend irl

I very much disagree with the opinion that this song should not have had a 'calm' version (in quotes because I would not exactly call it 'calm'). It conveys the feeling of a threat that you cannot see lurking nearby like few other pieces of music do

This soundtrack weirdly reminds me of Mindustry
