I love the little details they added when Tod's tongue sticks out when he's trying to catch his breath. The breakdowns are really helpful! Foxes are my favorite animals! Loved this movie since I was a kid!

It's cool to see the timing charts attached to the movements like the old days

I remember seeing a lot of behind the scenes footage and it was similar to this. Which proves that 2d animation is as complicated as CGI. Both types of animators need to be treated with respect!

this is why I love old animated disney movies, I always admired how beautiful and fluid it is

This was my favourite scene in Fox and the hound, the fluency of the animation to the expressions and then the determination to help his friend Copper with that run and pounce on the bear. My heart was in my mouth with this scene as a kid. Amazing effort by the animators!

This is so helpful! Foxes have such a unique body type which can be hard to animate, showing how these movies are made truly helps! ❤️ -Chloe

Your tutorials are always so inspiring👍👍👍 The fox and the hound is one movie I always forget about, and then I remember how sad and dramatic it is (in a good way) 😄
I like how you use these old cartoons as lessons. Nothing ever really changes with animation; timing is everything, even with 3D graphics.

I really love your animation analysis videos! It's pretty cool to know what kind of movements and animation rules were used on the work on those classic 2D animation movies scenes!
It really is a good reference of how to make movements real smooth and with a good pacing, and timing!

Nice analysis from part of my favorite scene in The Fox And The Hound. It's awesome how Glen Keane was doing extraordinary work that early in his career. I actually looked through this scene frame by frame once to take it all in and it was cool how fluidly everything moved.

It's cool to realize these techniques being still there in new films including Pixar works today.

Tod's moment of hesitation always stood out to me in the movie. The animators did such a fantastic job portraying his inner battle. It's very brief, but it speaks volumes. One of the first times I started to notice raw emotions in animation as a kid.
