Hand Drawn fx is something very challenging. The audience usualy doesn't understand how many fx there is within a animated movie and the amount of work you need to achieve such top level effects. Unfortunately, when the studios communicate on their animated movies, the emphasis is always put on the characters animators and effects animators are kept away from the spot lights. So sad.
