Those things on the paintings, and called runes. They all are different but mean something i am actively trying to figure it out. please leave a reply if you find a meaning. thank you.

I have only decoded this much:

Maybe "Dottie" or Dorothy made a deal with other entities but we can't even out any as there are so many "friends" at play.

Theory: Dottie is a creator who is unsatisfied with her lonely life so makes some sort of pact or deal to have "friends" but now whoever made the deal with her (maybe mother or tall man (although tall man seems to be scared of her so maybe not)) is now controlling and torturing her to achieve their ends

Theory: the triangle over her eye is representing the one that the monster that possesses her is in.

Am I the only one who thinks this is the story of a SA victim?

Hear me out! In the begining they say not to let the tall man in and then show a woman being "killed" by the tall man wich turns her into Dotti.
Then they mentioned spiders lay their eggs inside their victim to consume them from the inside. Spiders are "predators" so that made me think the eggs is an unwanted pregnancy or something like that.
Then all of that made me think Dotti has a facemask with a painted on smile because she has to pretend to be happy and normal all the time, hence the constant fake smile as well.

Later in the series it becomes clear the tall man keeps visiting even tho Dotti tries to keep him out. This combined with him being "the tall man", how she "needs to do chores" when he comes and how she needs to ask parents for permission to do things makes me think he is a child predator. This would make sence since those are usually a friend of the family or a familymember to the victim.

Then after that they (presumably her original self who is hiding in the dark, the mirros ect) say "To live in a delution is to accept a fate such as ours" wich makes Dotti defy the tall man by "making him the villan so that 'she' can be a hero", but this backfiers.
The man tells her "No, traitor" wich makes me think she told the world about their "secret". Then I asume it is her mum who tells her "Don't bite the hand that feeds you". That would make sense as it is extremely common that victims are called liars when they tell the truth if the predator is a friend of the family or a family member.
After that Dotti says "You said this would give me power" to herself, presumably meaning she thought she would be able to regain control of her life if she told someone the truth.

The caller who tells Dotti "Dotti, please stop this. You are hardly innocent." is probably the tall man. He is trying to gaslight her into feeling guilty for "making him look bad".

After the text "Want to escape", "Victim" and "Scared" shows up on the screen Dotti then says "But listen to me. As long as you listen to me those people have no power. Because I'm perfect, silly!". This makes me think Dotti is a defence mecanism creating the illusion you see to protect herself from reality as reality is to painful.

The "It's beautiful", "But we are not there yet, are we?", "Then why shouldn't we be?" and "So you have something to look forward to" while watching earth from space might refere to the feeling of alienation being a victim and acused of lying can create while "watching the world go by" while wishing you could be a part of it.

The runes kinda spell out tragedy of faust

Here is what it's about

Faust is unsatisfied with his life as a scholar and becomes depressed. After an attempt to take his own life, he calls on the Devil for further knowledge and magic powers with which to indulge all the pleasure and knowledge of the world. In response, the Devil's representative, Mephistopheles, appears.

*Spoilers* Here is the answer key I came to:




The backward speech sounds like "You have to find the door. You have to find it."
The code is Runic, but she gives her version of the alphabet on the first board....ABCD -- she skips Q?
The three codes come out to "Tragedy of Faust"
Faust is a protag in a german legend who was unsatisfied with his life...who made a pact with the devil for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures for his sadly fitting for our Dotty. But also, I'm wondering if the man at the end who said, "Find me" wasn't Faust?
