Okay, so I think I understand a little bit of the lore; The ‘creepy girl’ (Dottie) and the brown-haired girl are the same person. The tall man turned Dottie into what she is today. Now, here’s where it gets interesting. There are two theories I have come up with so far:

1. Dottie, after the tall man got ahold of her, is stuck in a nightmare/endless loop of horrifying deaths. This ‘loop’ caused her to go insane, and she fell completely under the control of the tall man and now runs the show to lure kids to the same fate.

2. Dottie is a puppet of sorts to the tall man, basically she has no control over most, if not all, of her actions. The tall man likely wants more ‘puppets’, and he’s using Dottie to get them. The scenes of brown-haired/past Dottie are really her real self trying to escape from her mind, where she’s trapped and tortured. The out-of-the-ordinary things that happen (eyeball in the mouth, hand growing from the dirt) are actually the nightmare-ish things she experiences while ‘trapped’, and while she slowly begins to fight back and resist the tall man, these nightmares are escaping her mind. It’s hard to explain, but as she pushes her way out, she’s pushing these monsters as well.

I know this is most likely inaccurate, but again, it’s just my theory. If possible, I’d like you to like so Lauren can see this!

Since Lauren doesn’t know what weirdcore is,
Here is what it is:
Weirdcore is a surrealist aesthetic centered around amateur or low-quality photography and/or visual images that have been constructed or edited to convey feelings of confusion, disorientation, dread, alienation, and nostalgia or anemoia.

Visually, it is strongly influenced by the general look and feel of images shared on an older internet, roughly a period spanning from around the late 90's to mid 2000's. Amateur editing, primitive digital graphics, lo-fi photography and image compression are some of the most common elements found in Weirdcore images.

Thematically, Weirdcore often conveys a feeling of dread, brought forth by its low quality imagery and a lack of context in regards to the location or the message being shown. This does not mean that Weirdcore is deeply rooted in horror, however, as the feeling of fear left on the viewer is merely a side effect of placing them in an unfamiliar setting or context. This is purely subjective however, and depends on the viewer, their own experiences and the content of an edit; while some people might find a Weirdcore image scary or ominous, others might feel nostalgia or even a feeling of comfort.
It’s also know as Oddcore or Strangecore!

weirdcore is a style thats meant to be childish but not childish, its based off backrooms and revolves around backrooms, its also a comfort style. most weirdcore videos are about another world based on the backrooms, and the audio "dont pick the flowers" with it etc, weirdcore is a neon style that consists of horror but also childish dreams. some weirdcore videos are like a girl with a never ending dream in which seems innocent and neon and childish but a monster follows her around and stalks her as her comment section tries to lead her out of this never ending dream.

Wierdcore/dreamcore is one of the most amazing and intriguing one of the "aesthetics". It mainly has images that look nostalgic or surreal, not to mention scary. Along with some low quality aspects (like an old tv) and is mainly focused on childhood places in the late 90's/early 2000's. The Backrooms involves wierdcore too with all of the terrifying entities and strangely familiar places. You will see a lot of eyes and mushrooms especially (it sounds random ik). There is also bits of derealization, saying that "this isn't real" or "you have to wake up, this is a dream". If you have then you might want to avoid wierdcore. To me, it's a very safe and calming core and I've liked it for so long. But to a lot of ppl its scary and/or disturbing. Wierdcore is also known for music, popular wierdcore songs include: I'd Rather Sleep by Kero Kero Bonito, Hey Kids by Molina, Still Life by Sitcom. Just to name a few

i personally think the face she fed her "mother" was her own face. because in the whole show, her face is white and it looks like her skin is ripped off
also, my theory is that somehow like the coraline movie, dottie (the blonde girl) is trapped inside the "other world" or something like that, with that "mother" of hers and she's unwillingly helping "mother" to lure more kids into the "other world" also, i don't think tall man is a bad guy. i personally think she watches over dottie so she doesn't hurt herself while making himself seem like a bad guy to the mother so she keeps him. so i think tall man cares for dottie in a way
